Affiliate disclosure

Last updated: June 24, 2026

Privacy Tools Hub is free to read and funded by affiliate commissions. Some links on the site — typically the “Get provider” buttons on reviews and comparisons — are affiliate links. If you buy through one of them, the site may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

What this changes — and what it doesn’t

The commission does not change the price you pay, the facts we list, or the trade-offs we describe. Most importantly, it does not change our scores or rankings, and placement is not for sale: no provider can pay to win a comparison or to appear higher on a list.

  • Scores come from a consistent rubric, not from commercial relationships. See our methodology.
  • We recommend the same pick whether or not a provider runs an affiliate program.
  • Key facts are verified against each provider’s official pages, with a “facts refreshed” date on reviews.

Brands and independence

Brand names and logos are used only to identify the providers being reviewed or compared. Privacy Tools Hub is independent and is not owned, operated, or endorsed by those providers. You can read more about who we are on the about page.

Why we disclose this

Affiliate funding is common on comparison sites, and we think you deserve to know how a site you rely on makes money. Being upfront about it is part of keeping the recommendations trustworthy.

Start comparing

The fastest way to decide is to start with the best VPNs page, then open a direct comparison or a full provider review.
